About the show
The Northeast Guitar Expo is intended to be a gathering of the guitar community throughout the region. There really isn’t another event like this in the New England area. Created by Peter Occhineri and Kevin Kalagher, two veterans of the guitar industry, it’s their passion to bring luthiers, builders, product manufacturers and vintage dealers together for guitar enthusiasts to meet and create new relationships with.
The Northeast Guitar Expo is designed to give regional luthiers and builders a venue to show their craft to the guitar community. Many of these custom instrument builders are like best kept secrets. You can meet these guys, talk shop and play their guitars.
There are also many vintage and collectable dealers that our shows cater to. These experts are both bringing some of the best guitars you can find, and are looking to make you an offer on your personal instrument.
The Buy-Sell-Trade option lets attendees sell their personal instruments during the show. Many dealers are ready to make you an offer on the spot.
A special feature of the show is the Acoustic Cafe, a separate showroom for acoustic instrument builders to display and demo their products in a more quiet environment. This adds a “second show” to the electric guitar and bass show space.

Peter Occhineri and Kevin Kalagher are the promoters and owners of the Northeast Guitar Expo. Their collective experience in guitar building, marketing and sales spans more than 3 decades. They created the original show in 2012.
