The Noorder Gitaar Dag is a very nice and ‘gezellige’ guitar show in Zuidbroek, Groningen. Its an initiative of four guitar lovers who got to know each other via the guitar forum Gitaarnet.nl. The first edition took place on 3 March 2012 with nearly 600 visitors and the event has been very successful ever since.

At the show, you can find around 50 exhibitors, follow workshops and watch great performances. The atmosphere is always great, and going to the show is definitely a great way to spend the weekend!

Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is well and playing! I have been working at the Cincinnati Guitar Show for over 20 yrs, which was put on by my friend Rick Ruether. Rick decided several years ago that he needed to concentrate more on his primary business, and we decided that I was the most likely candidate to take over the show. Over the years, I have gotten to know many of the dealers and vendors that come to the Cincy show.

In a fit of insanity, I agreed and acquired the rights to the name and show.  It has been a real education over the years and will continue, I’m sure, right up to our upcoming show at the beautiful Sharonville Convention Center, just off I-75 in northern Cincinnati.  My family is actively involved, with my oldest son handling graphics, printing/mailings, website and registration, and my youngest taking care of all things social media… along with much needed help & input from our dear wives.

I am asking for your help in promoting the show to as many folks as you can through word of mouth, emails, Facebook, Twitter and website and would greatly appreciate if you would please “Like and Share.”  I’m sure many of you know someone who enjoys playing music in some form, whether it’s guitar, bass, drums, sax, etc.

This has been a big undertaking, and I can’t thank the family enough for their help and support.  WTH, I’m supposed to be retired!  But this show is always a lot of fun, with good people and great instruments.  With your help, we hope to make this show the “Best in the Midwest.”  Any questions, just contact me.  Many thanks …. “We get by with a little help from our friends!”

The International Vintage Guitar Show Veenendaal, or 'Vintage Veenendaal’, as the show is frequently called, is organized in order to create a platform through which musicians, collectors and other sympathizers have the opportunity to meet, talk, make music and do business. Bridge Guitar Convention
The Bridge Guitar Convention is one of the parts of the Bridge Guitar Festival that takes place in the Brainport Region Eindhoven. On Saturday Muziekgebouw Eindhoven will host the BRIDGE Guitar Convention: a big guitar fair and a dozen workshops by top guitarists.

The Leeds Bradford Guitar Show is the only large-scale guitar show to take place in West Yorkshire and is highly anticipated and regarded by visitors and exhibitors alike. Hosted by Northern Guitar Shows Ltd, the show has all their trademark features - an affordable entrance fee for visitors, sensibly-priced exhibitor costs with no added extras, free parking for all, good transport links including proximity to the motorways and even a nearby railway station.

Last year more than 150 exhibitors attended from all over the UK and Europe and this year promises to attract even more.

Based on the style of USA table-top exhibitions, LIGS is first and foremost a retail event. New, vintage and pre-owned guitars, amps and pedals will be available to buy, trade and sell from a host of retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors - not to mention a whole gamut of strings and accessories.

As with all the NGS events, workshops, demonstrations and live music will be available in separate areas throughout the day, with some of the top names in the industry performing in an intimate setting through the show’s PA system provided by BOSE professional.

LIGS is sponsored by PMT, Reflex Print, Acoustic Review, BluGuitar, Fret-King Guitars, Vintage Guitars, Guitar.com, L R Baggs, Mooer, Hercules Stands, Ernie Ball and The Musicians' Union.

Registration is open to any business with guitar-related products including retailers, distributors, manufacturers, luthiers, boutique makers and private collectors and dealers.
