To be a guitar builder and then, by sheer chance, unearth a perfectly preserved, beautifully discolored maple trunk, only to discover it’s prehistoric, is an absolute dream come true. That’s exactly what happened to us many years ago. Inspired by this extraordinary find, we set out to create a collection of guitars, each entirely hand-carved from solid, 7,500-year-old sinker maple.

Undoubtedly one of the finest tonewoods imaginable, this ancient maple has developed a stunning natural dark brown hue over millennia. Its exceptional density gives it a truly remarkable tonal profile—tight, focused, and rich in note definition. The sheer age of the wood enhances these characteristics, producing a sound unlike any other.
