T-ULTIMATE NEOLITHIC I

ABOUT

The Dejawu T-Ultimate Neolithic No.1 is the rarest and most extraordinary guitar we have ever built. As the very first model—and the only T-Ultimate ever made available for sale—it represents the pinnacle of a highly exclusive collection of handcrafted stringed instruments.

Carved entirely by hand from solid prehistoric maple—one of the finest tonewoods imaginable—this guitar delivers a bright, articulate tonal profile with exceptional clarity and definition. Its tight, focused sound makes it ideal for genres that demand precision and nuance. The remarkable age of the wood amplifies these qualities, resulting in a tone that is both deeply resonant and truly one of a kind. When you play, you don’t just hear the music—you feel 7,500 years of underground history and sound vibrating against your chest.

A rare combination of nutrients in the soil has imbued the wood with a breathtaking, naturally developed dark brown hue. To enhance and preserve its organic beauty, we applied multiple ultra-thin layers of nitrocellulose lacquer, each meticulously hand-polished to maintain the wood’s resonance while highlighting its grain.

The body and neck are elegantly trimmed with a seven-ply ‘young maple’ binding, creating a refined contrast to its ancient counterpart. Surprisingly lightweight—even with its premium electronics and hardware—it weighs a mere 2,600 grams, making it as effortless to hold as it is to play.

  • The tops, backs and necks of our guitars are completely carved by hand, using exclusively premium solid tone woods with outstanding tonal quality. Our guitars are built from one piece, allowing the wood to vibrate more freely, producing a more complex and dynamic sound.

The construction of our semi-acoustic guitars - all of which are equipped with a square center block at the bridge position - eliminates all possible feedback problems entirely while maintaining its acoustic properties. The center of the top maintains its original thickness, while the rest of the wood is carefully carved away by hand. In this way, there is no tension on the top and therefore there is no tendency to bend and/or deform over time. This method eliminates the need for a center block that covers the entire body length of the guitar needed for stability and to avoid feedback.

Every guitar we build has a completely unique look. The hand polished nitro-cellulose lacquer highlights the individual character of the grain, while maintaining the sound characteristics of the wood.

PICKUPS & WIRING

At our request, Harry Häussel built Double -TE ST-A5 pickups for both neck and bridge positions with original strat classic wire and alnico 5 magnets resulting in a very full, round and clear sound. We chose open pickup covers to keep the sound as clear as possible and finished them with the same old wood we used for this guitar. The Dejawu T-Ultimate Neolithic is equipped with a Free-Way 3x3-05 six-position toggle switch and a Push/Push tone pot. With the switch in position 1, 2 and 3 the pot switches from series humbuckers to inner single coils. In position 4, 5 and 6 it switches from parallel humbuckers to outer single coils.
