About the show
The Luthier Guitar Show is a two-day annual event organized in Madrid by LuCe. LuCe is a non-profit collaborative association that - among others – aims to promote work of luthiers and handcrafted musical instruments. LuCe wants to endorse a non-mass production business model, based on quality and excellence rather than profit. The association brings together professionals dedicated to the construction of electric guitars from all over the Iberian Peninsula.
According to LuCe, there is currently no (other) place in Spain that connects musicians -professionals and amateurs- with the work that luthiers perform in their workshops.
By organizing this show, LuCe wants to provide a place where visitors and participants can share experiences and be aware of the novelties, aesthetics and techniques. It is a unique opportunity to showcase and make known the best of the artisan builders of guitars, basses, pickups and effects. The show thus provides a great place where guitarists in search of a guitar of excellence, can try, compare and choose between high-end craftsmanship guitars.
